I have visited various camera stores, major retailers and several Revain stores and tried different sling style camera bag options. I am happy to say that I have found the perfect match for what I was looking for. This bag has enough room for my particular lens/camera combo and enough room to make room if I want to rearrange it and make room for a basic or possibly smaller telephoto lens. One of the aspects I really like about this bag is the color scheme. I love fiery orange accents so this bag is perfect for that purpose. The look also has a good balance between the available hooks, clips and straps without cluttering the look of the bag with too many buckles and dangling fabric cords. It's also worth noting that the hip belt and buckle can be removed, albeit with a single non-detachable buckle that has a small dedicated pocket near where it attaches to the camera for stashing. Besides the outside, the inside was the most important thing. an idea that fits my situation perfectly. My particular camera and lens combo is a Sony A7R III with one 25-70 f/2.8 GM or 70-200 f/4 lens attached and the other mounted in a separate compartment. This bag has enough space for all three items, which I found more unusual than you would imagine for shoulder bags. Some shoulder bags had dedicated camera pockets that weren't deep enough to work with even my shorter 24-70 lens on the camera, or were too short or narrow to turn the camera sideways and close, or any other combination, I've tried it, not to mention I have enough space to hold my 70-200. Since this bag is just a large bag with a few velcro straps, I had enough space for my essential gear. I've attached pictures of my bag including the camera gear hidden inside. I should also mention that while I prefer to put the camera on its back as shown in the picture, the bag is wide enough to put the camera and attached lens on its side, with enough room to cover the flap. . If you choose to do so, there's plenty of room at the top of the bag for an extra lens or flash. However, my 70-200, or my camera with the 24-70 attached, is too long to fit on top of the bag due to its narrow shape, although not long, so there is still enough space. I would also like to mention that this bag "squeezes", which is another thing I've been looking for in a bag. Some bags and manufacturers prefer very hard interiors, which offer a little more protection but make the bag ungodly unwieldy. I prefer to always have my bag with me, especially when flying when I don't trust the top compartments. While I haven't had a chance to test it yet, this bag's ability to compress somewhat should work perfectly for "under the seat" storage while in flight. I've flown with an even larger backpack that fits under the seat so I plan to do so again although I haven't flown with it and I'm not worried it will be too big to fit . Finally, I also tried a slightly larger version of this PhotoCross 13 case, which is a bit larger. This version is just as versatile and apparently even more spacious. However, I was looking for a compact case big enough to hold my gear, an iPad Mini, and various other batteries and cables, and the PhotoCross 10 was perfect for that. I decided to stop at 10 and return 13 as the larger version was just bigger than I needed and the extra space at 10 made for a much more portable and compact option.
