I've tried many brands - cheap, super expensive, famous, unbranded etc - over the years it seems to me that the support of most shoes drops off quickly. I've given up a lot of the expensive ones because they don't usually last that long and I feel like I don't want to replace them as often since I'm spending a lot more money. I don't normally use my running shoes - I just walk/stand at work and look for good arch support. I suffer from overpronation where my ankles bend inwards. I was a bit nervous when I first received the shoes because they were so light I didn't think they could give me the support I needed but I was pleasantly surprised to be able to wear them all day of work could bear. for a few days without any problems. Of course, this isn't about durability, but I've had shoes that I can barely wear in a day and end up sending back because they're so uncomfortable. I usually wear a size 10.5 and the size 10.5 I ordered fits perfectly. Strangely, they are listed in European sizes, but that doesn't matter. The bottom doesn't have the crazy off-road pattern, but it's non-slip and sticks well to tile and wood floors. I really like the sock-like design, it hugs the foot. Ultimately I am very impressed with the value of this shoe based on design, comfort and quality. Highly recommended!
