This flashlight puts out a lot of light but has the disadvantage that it also generates a lot of radio interference. Part of the state that didn't have streetlights. They were very bright and lit the road very well with a light output of around 180 degrees (obviously you can't get a full 180 degrees, but it's close). I also keep a 2-way VHF radio in my car when I travel. Listen to weather reports from NOAA weather stations. When the lights are off the weather reports come through with no problem, but when the lights are on it looks like a bunch of gremlins are running around destroying my radio and I can't hear a thing. Now I realize it's the same weather report over and over again, but it also happens when I'm talking to someone else. That's why I'm only giving it 3 stars. Performance is great, but shouldn't be used for road driving as it's not a downward jet, it's an all-round forward jet.
