A ring of headphones doesn't just make you look like someone out of some old cyberpunk movie. It also opens up a second auditory canal. I've checked them now while vacuuming and mowing the lawn. The music transmitted to your middle ear is still audible to some extent, as is the world around you, no matter the noise level. My only concern is that while I hardly notice them when wearing them, certain positions can become more noticeable (uncomfortable). Below is my overview of the advantages and disadvantages. I don't think you can get a better $60 set for the money. Pros: Regardless of the amount of things around me, I can hear everything that sounds in this headset. My ear canals don't irritate and I don't have to worry about waxing. Great sound even with this cheap pair (only $60) 10 hours playback! Super light (don't even know if I'm wearing them) Physical button is easy to use My glasses don't move at all when they're on and they're not uncomfortable at all Cons: Micro USB (another damn cable) Bass is ok , but when the volume is low or you're wearing earplugs it's barely noticeable (I didn't find this a problem since I'm moving the line points) Separate volume levels on device and source. Update: Returned after continued random power outages when battery is over 50%. I was sad because they were excellent. Replaced with the open move Aftershokz while still playing with them to see if they make a good replacement.
