These are nice little canvases for the price. They're not high-end, but they can easily be made much better. The canvas is a little loose, but if you spray the back with clean water, just enough to wet the canvas, not soak it, and make sure to spray the corners as well, they will get taut like a drum. I used a regular plant sprayer and sprayed it with a fine mist. That too is quick. In a few minutes. That's a great trick I learned. If you clicked on the canvas and it's still loose, spray it again. (Make sure you hit the corners or they might look crumpled. Don't worry if this is the case, just spray those corners from behind. You need to tilt the screen a bit. Add a few coats of plaster as well. This will make them smoother. A little sanding helps too, but be careful. These are not very thick canvases and you can easily rub them around the edges. I use 150 grit aluminum oxide paper and then gently brush the canvas with a soft brush. Do not brush them with your hands, otherwise you may stain the canvas with oil.
