This embroidery machine has been a game-changer for my Arts and Crafts projects! As my tests showed, it's very easy to use, even for a beginner like me. EDIT; 05/11/19 I LEARNED! So reading the manual will go a long way towards improving the issues I had in my review below. You CAN switch the spools between colors (you don't have to take the hoop off and restart anything, just press the arrow key and then the "needle" key to put the needle in a safe position before switching things) .
