So my Scosche cable finally died after many years of intensive use and I needed one until I buy a new one. I went with this model at about the same price as the store bought model. In all honesty, it's rubbish, especially compared to my brick and mortar model. The connectors themselves seem normal and sturdy, but the cable sucks. Ultra thin, very thin, almost no jacket. There are also no fuses at the points where the cord enters the outlet. It's literally just a wire going into the socket body with no protection or anything like that. This is the main bending point of the cords, where they always close. I can't believe there isn't a jacket around the bend. This is even the case with cheap headphones. The sound quality is noticeably worse than my old cable, probably due to the lack of decent shielding. Please look at the picture I am talking about. The right one was bought in a store at the same price as the left one, bought on Amazon.
