I was very surprised that the sponge was made in Spain, I'm used to seeing Chinese products, and here is Europe) I really liked using the molded Scotch-Brite sponge, it is easy to use, effectively removes dirt / grease from the surface of the dishes (of course with detergents such as Synergetic for example), it is durable and lasts for a couple of weeks for sure, and then I I pour boiling water over it and I can use it for another week.
