the package arrived 5 days after the deadline, it didn't look like protective packaging. Just a box rattles in a big box. This seller seems to have had real problems meeting delivery deadlines lately. The fan itself is unusual for me. I haven't come across a fan powered by SATA power cables and 5V connectors. Without a 5V port, which seems only available on high-end motherboards, a physical controller is the only way to change settings. This will likely require some very interesting cable management or the removal of a side panel to adjust fan settings. But unfortunately there are very noticeable fluctuations, and I don't think the fan will last even 6 months. Pretty blown away by this nearly $50 fan.
