A little disappointed but overall well made fans

Well they are well made and the RGB itself is really bright and the modes included are varied and interesting. However, my problem is that there is a central rainbow colored area in the middle of the fans that cannot be changed or disabled. You can change the color, modes, and speed around the fan blades, but there will always be rainbow colors in the center, which I don't particularly like. I could move them to the top of my case where they are less visible and replace them with a couple of…

Slightly more expensive than cheap RGB fans, but worth it in my opinion

PC fan. They look great as an exhaust, but are terrible when inverted for intake. I like these fans, especially as white supply fans, for two main reasons: - When used as a supply fan, there is no RGB bleed-through. When I bought these 5 $30 RGB fans it was so common they just didn't bother to use enough suction side diffuser. The lights are still pretty well covered by the white plastic cone on the back of these fans. Except for the wire pin you can see in the picture I used some white tape to

Great Looking ARGB Fans

I received the Thermaltake View 51 case which came with smaller versions with a proprietary connector and no speed control. They have a regular 4-pin PWM connector, as well as a micro 3-pin connector that you can daisy-chain with other devices in the range (plus Pure 12 ARGB and Pure 14 ARGB for me). In DC they work up to 50%. 12 and 14 work up to 40%. The kit includes two different 5V ARGB cables that plug into the aforementioned mini jack. it goes to your motherboard or splitter (which I…

A bit of a hassle but worth it

I bought these to replace the standard fan for the built in all in one in my NZXT H1 case. I understand the reason for swapping cables to go from the controller to the direct connection to the motherboard, but I found it a little tedious. I also understand why the cables are so long when used as a case fan and not a heatsink fan, but if you need to plug the connected RGB cable into a second cable for either the controller or the ARGB connector, I figured that they could be made the connected…

Better than Cooler Master 200m fan

I have a Cooler Master H500P and the fan on them has been dying for a year. I bought a replacement fan and they died within 3 months. So I decided to buy ThermalTake 200m and they are MUCH better. They spin at higher RPMs and are much quieter. (I will extend their lifespan in the future) The only problem I have with installing them in the H500P is that you have to install them so that only two corners form the case. This is really more than enough, but if you have the same case, you should be…

Works great as an exhaust and supply fan

I have used them as an exhaust fan and bottom supply fan in my new build. They work great, quiet, great airflow. They can also be used as fans to force air over the CPU cooler as they are static pressure fans that concentrate the air with more force in a smaller area. The lighting is great, you can set it to a single color or react to your desktop or games, and there are lots of random effects. The only thing I didn't like is that you have to manage a lot of cables so it takes a while to…

The product is better than the seller, but that's not saying much.

the package arrived 5 days after the deadline, it didn't look like protective packaging. Just a box rattles in a big box. This seller seems to have had real problems meeting delivery deadlines lately. The fan itself is unusual for me. I haven't come across a fan powered by SATA power cables and 5V connectors. Without a 5V port, which seems only available on high-end motherboards, a physical controller is the only way to change settings. This will likely require some very interesting cable…

Good fans, not too loud

I have Pure 20, 14 and 12 fans (200mm, 140mm, 120mm). They work great with my MSI Mystic Light Controller (I don't use the included controller). I recently upgraded from a medium tower case to a full tower case, the full tower case has one more fan than the old one and it's not as loud as my old case fans. They're connected to the MB fan controller and even with intense video gaming they're not that loud (subjectively I think). The main reason I bought it is for the RGB effect and I'm very…
