I really wanted to like this product. I'm a vet and saw another vet recommend it, so ordered some for my older dog with neurological problems in the hindquarters. The shredded material is great and if they could find a better way to stick it on it would be a winner. However: (1) Only 2/4 of the tubes of glue contained glue (see pictures). Maybe it's invisible glue? I cut one of them in half to prove to myself I'm not crazy. (2) Maybe my dog is just "difficult," but as a vet, I feel I should be able to follow directions and then apply glue to the dog. of food and dip into the powder to obtain the even coating described. nope Less than 1/3 sticks (3) So I came up with my own method that worked perfectly: Using your hands (gloves don't work) apply the coating and glue at the same time and press into place. . That made the ticket and also provided me with non-slip fingertips! (4) After that I will SAY it worked for my dog and it took maybe 3 weeks? But I couldn't bring myself to go through this disastrous mess again. Did I mention he doesn't like it when his legs get messed up? :(Great in theory. I hope they improve the system to make it easier to apply, offer a more stable fit and of course less defects in the glue tube situation, but for now I'm looking for another option.
