Review on 🌱 NESCO TR-2 Gardenmaster 15.5" Add-A-Tray for NESCO 1000 Series Dehydrators - Expand Your Drying Capacity with 2 Additional Trays by Kristen Simon

Contrary to the experience of some negative reviewers, I received these trays promptly in good condition and found them to be identical to the ones that came with my Nesco FD-1018A, Gardenmaster Food Dehydrator. I can only caution potential buyers to ensure that any bowls you order are actually replacement bowls for your specific product and not just 'fit'. As for the complaints about not being able to go in the dishwasher, my trays came with warnings to hand wash the trays and not put them in the dishwasher. I suspect the problem with the dishwasher is the heated drying cycle. The shells necessarily require the shells to have fairly thin plastic sections that do not appear to withstand high temperatures. I suppose you could wash the trays in the dishwasher if you turn off the heat dryer and avoid cycles that overheat the water, but be aware that the manufacturer says "hand wash only". I've found hand washing to be relatively easy if you have a sink large enough to submerge at least a third of the tray in water. Otherwise you can try the bath.
