Lightweight and suitable for hardwood floors. Otherwise it's not that great. The suction power is minimal. The crumbs from the sofa are not collected either. Need to vacuum your carpet? Forget it. Won't work at all. I mainly use it on my wooden steps as it's lightweight but has a side fan/fan that blows out pet hair before I can vacuum. Rather spend a little more to get a nicer brand that really works on all surfaces.
