Review on Phanteks Enthoo Chassis Without PH ES614PC_BK by Danny Badasz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great case great price

I was a little surprised at the quality of this case considering it is in the budget range. A 240 mm radiator easily fits in. Although larger heatsinks are supported, some (or all, depending on heatsink size) of the drive cages must be removed. I needed some front drive bays so this filled the bill. This case also comes with a partial viewing window on the left cover, but since the current RGB cushions and pizza didn’t interest me that much, I decided on a closed case. It's basically tool-free and reconfiguration is easy as all connections are held in place with screws rather than rivets. The insides of the case are steel, including the doors, but the front and top panels are plastic, but they still look very nice and high quality, not flimsy. The case is equipped with a 200mm fan in the front and a 140mm fan in the back. The fans are 3-pin, but the case has 4-pin fans that can be connected to the PWM header on the motherboard. This configuration doesn't allow you to view individual tachometers or adjust RPMs, but I do run my fans at full speed. The case is well ventilated, and with stock fans and the additional 240mm Corsair radiator, my i9 9900 runs 32 degrees cool. C stays below 80 at idle and during stress tests. In normal non-gaming use, it stays in the 35-55 range. Will definitely consider this case for my next build.
