I quilt by night and work as an accountant by day. I wanted a new placemat but I wanted to be able to cut it and I use a lot of measuring tools. I used one of my old Olfa rugs, but didn't like the bright green color showing off in my display case. I was looking for something gray or black. This rug is PERFECT. It's not overloaded on my table, very heavy (3 times more than my Olfa), I've cut it several times and I can't find any traces of cutting. The texture is compatible with my computer mouse, so say goodbye to a mouse pad that frees up more space for me. I probably need a home too :)
