Today I took chains and links out of the box. I planned on using one each to replace the worn out rope on my son's disc swing. The quick links looked suspiciously light, but I hooked up the chain and link swing and jumped in for a test ride. The fast link immediately flipped and threw me onto my ass. I'm not huge (170 pounds) and didn't have momentum. Imagine that your child is at the top of the swing arch at this moment. The chain held up well when I replaced the curved quick link with a heavier spring clip, but they are a bit smaller than I would like for this purpose. After about 30 seconds, it became uncomfortable to hold on to the chain. They can feel good in smaller hands. I'll never know because I gave up the plan. I just don't trust the product. I recommend looking for other chain options, but be sure to purchase heavier quick release links or clips when deciding on this set.
