No idea what happened to it, I used to think it was impossible to get a bad SD card, especially from a company like Kingston. Well those beliefs haven't been confirmed, this board showed problems from the start, but since I've used it in a Raspberry PI project I've never worked with before, I figured something was wrong with my Linux installation it's correct. Random files get corrupted, but not so much that I would think there's anything wrong with the storage hardware. Maybe 1 in 2000-3000 files will end up with a bad hash (a big database will be split into several small files). The application could restore/rebuild lost database files every time, so I figured it wasn't a big deal. Well, it hasn't even been two months of operation and now the card refuses to write at all in the Raspberry PI. Strangely it only seems to refuse to work completely when I'm using ext4 formatted Debian. When I reformat it to NTFS and use it with Windows, it reads and writes at normal speed. I ordered a new SD card from a different brand and it worked without any problems. In fact, most of the slowdowns and all the issues I had with the Raspberry Pi that I assumed were solely due to the device's limited hardware turned out to be due to that stupid Kingston SD card. Maybe I just got a card from a bad batch, maybe these cards are somehow not compatible with the EXT4 file system. Anyway, for my use case this card is useless.
