This towel is advertised as a beach and bath towel and is certainly suitable for any use, but in my opinion more suitable for the beach. Its fabric is 100% cotton, which I love because I prefer all my towels, both for the beach and for the bath, to be entirely cotton, not polyester, microfiber, or blends. This towel is thinner and lighter, making it easier to pack and carry to the beach than a thick, fluffy towel. It also dries faster than a thicker bath towel. Although thinner, it wicks moisture well and is suitable for use on the beach or in the pool. The towel is very soft and big for a kids beach towel. The edges are well sewn and glued. As for washing, I wash in warm water and machine dry with no problem. Drawing on one side only. The other side is white and that's the only thing I'm not into. I want the design to be on both sides or the other side to be solid but darker in color. The shark design is very cute and my son loves it.
