Excellent purchase. Keeps my laptop cool and gives me maximum performance
The cooler made me happy. The backlighting on the fans themselves is subtle but adds a nice glow underneath the laptop. The lights on the side of the cooler are brighter, but are mostly hidden by the laptop itself. Perhaps placing it on the right side of the cooler would make them more visible when using the cooler for a laptop. I also use it as a keyboard at work during the day and the light on it is more noticeable. Overall a great purchase.
