When I received the glass I knew immediately there was a problem and the cup markings matched the ML markings exactly. This glass appears to be measured in Japanese cups, not US/Imperial cups. It turns out that the Japanese "cup" equals 200ml. A US/Imperial cup is approximately 237 ml. I didn't see that from the product description. It is clear that in hindsight, if you look closely at the photos, this fact becomes obvious. The jar was really well made and it was accurate on machine learning as I weighed 200ml of water in it and the weight was within a few grams which is maybe just my scale. So, I think 4 or 5 stars if you want Japanese mugs. 1-2 stars if you wanted US cups and thought that would be the solution.
