The main reason I bought this measuring cup was because it looked like the pour spout was sharply defined in the pictures, but it turns out it is - and a Pyrex cup pours every day . These mugs pour great and work well in the microwave. I use this every day to boil liquid for oatmeal and it holds up great. However, we erase them by hand to increase the lifespan of the lettering on the sides.
