A few test runs and I think I have acceptable ones get bubble flares. For some time I will not connect the hydraulics (frame removed). I gave four stars instead of five because they didn't come out "perfect", now it could be operator error, or the design of the tool could make it difficult to center the tool *perfectly*. In other words, the flares didn't look perfect from the factory and were *absolutely* positioned along the inside diameter of the pipe. Also, I suspect tools costing a few hundred dollars are probably better at handling the backlight. However, I am happy with the purchase and trust the bells to close when I pressurize the hydraulics. I think if you're not a pro and just need to do a few flashes, this will serve you well. I think it was worth the money.
