These are meant to be 90 degree connectors. You can easily connect them to the spade connector, but it's not possible to crimp a wire because the plastic housing is too thick and your crimping tool can't crimp the wire onto the connector. The only way to get them to work is to use the yellow connector and then use a hollow wire crimp connector as well. I think you could put the barrel connector in the big round end and that's the only way I see to get them working. Or grab a soldering iron and try. I wasted no time either and Revane happily accepted my request for a refund.
