Read my title first, this is no joke, this thing is raw! Cooks faster than my gas stove. I specifically chose glass containers to avoid odors and chemicals. I've seen plastic containers and don't trust them. I had ceramic containers and they smelled bad. I had non stick and they spoiled and smelled bad. Stainless steel is good, but they add anti-rust chemicals that I don't trust. very little or no lead. It may crack or break if dropped, so be careful! There is NO perfect material, but it is the best of the 5! *Note: I will not receive any compensation, grants or rebates if I leave this review. So please thumbs up! Update 11/01: Thanks everyone for the votes, it encourages me to leave more valuable feedback. Some people may find it difficult. At 0.5 liters it weighs only 3.5 pounds and cooks in 3 minutes. You can buy a 1 liter version that shaves just 2 inches and a few ounces. Or you can use your mug in the microwave.
