I love this grinder. You can store butter in the fridge and only take it out when you need it, not just before heating it. It turns out thin enough to spread well on toast or anything hot. No need to actually spread, just pull desired length of ribbon over your food and you're done. Now I'm undoubtedly consuming more oil, but I don't feel like it's excessive. You have to release the handle one turn when you reach the length you want, otherwise it keeps coming out until the pressure is gone. I've been using mine for at least 6 months, there's no reason to think I won't survive a few years with it, which is cost effective enough for me. I bought some for my kids houses. Everyone loves them when they use them.
