Associated product requires instructions - still a good deal

Good quality material - thick enough to make a good screen protector and easy enough to apply. The end result looks very good. Pros: - Comes with a lint remover - Easy to use hard scraper to pop bubbles - A few pieces of tape to remove lint and dust particles from the bottom of the film during application THIS IS A BIG DEAL and is the first thing I've seen with this add-on. Cons: NO INSTRUCTIONS. So if you haven't applied any of these before getting lost and needing to search the web, it's only ONE side like a screen protector. This is a problem because the scraper puts pressure on the top surface of the tread and, if applied with enough force, can damage the finish of the tread surface. QUICK INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: WHAT YOU NEED: a) A wide piece of vellum paper (18 inches) cut to about 24 inches in length OR two pieces of standard width wax paper cut to 24 inches in length. too much (just a squirt on a paper towel is really enough. c) Spread out all of the parts from this kit onto a work surface (see step 1 below) (or relatively clean) surface. That is, not over the tablecloth. Do this on a table or countertop. 2) Wipe the surface of the table or work surface with a slightly damp cloth to remove dust particles, and then wipe with a thick piece of paper towel. 3) Spread out a piece of wide parchment paper or two overlapping pieces of wax paper (this will be your work surface) 4) Take another paper towel and spritz VERY LIGHTLY (half a spray or less) and wipe down the screen and iPad case . Remove any smudges, dust and fingerprints and make sure the screen is as dry as possible, completely dry is best. 5) Using the same paper towel, lightly wipe the top of the screen protector and make sure it is dry. . Do the same with the side you will peel off before sticking the screen protector on your iPad. This will remove stray dust particles and some static electricity that build up on the screen protector. 6) Place the iPad screen face up on a parchment or wax paper surface and gently and completely wipe the screen with a cloth to remove dust from the packaging. Be sure to remove the dust you see (some you can't see - more on that later). 1" to 1" of this screen protector to expose the adhesive side that will be pressed against the iPad screen. certain ending, so get it right. 10) At this point, there may be bubbles between the sheet and the iPad screen. Gently push them out with a squeegee. This is easier if you catch them near the edge that is just beginning to stick. You can always pull the protective film a little to remove the bubbles. 11) PATIENTLY AND SLOWLY, continue to pull the release liner back and away from the sticky side of the release liner by gradually lowering the release liner and using a squeegee. expel the bubbles as you go.THE HARD PART --- THERE ARE ALWAYS SOME MICROSCOPIC DUST PARTICLES THAT WILL FIND THEIR WAY BETWEEN THE SCREEN AND THE SCREEN. THIS IS WHEN YOU USE STRIPS TO REMOVE DUST. A DUST PARTICLE CAN LOOK LIKE A BUBBLE. BECAUSE THE PARTICLE IS THREE-DIMENSIONAL AND THE AIR SURROUNDS IT. YOU CANNOT REMOVE THEM. THESE PARTICLES stick to the bottom of the protective film and not to the iPad screen. IF YOU HAVE DUST PARTICLES FOLLOW STEP 12 BELOW. on the. hold it tight LIFT the screen protector high enough to get a piece of tape under the screen protector until you feel you are in the right place. Stick the end of the tape to the bottom of the protector and then pull it out. This should remove the dust particle IF you carefully marked the position of the dust particle. This part takes time and can be frustrating. I've learned to live with two or three because some just won't go away. IF DUST PARTICLES cannot be removed with the supplied tape, try masking tape or a short piece of clear tape - the adhesive is slightly stronger and can pull away particles that the supplied tape strip will not remove. Fold one end over so you don't glue it all the way to the sheet as this will force you to use a different tread. 13) Continue peeling off the protective film by placing the sticky side on the iPad screen and squeezing it out with a squeegee. Blow and tape to remove microscopic (almost dust particles) 14) Finally, the entire protective film lays flat on the iPad screen. Use a squeegee to squeeze out any remaining bubbles. 15) Use the duster included in the kit to buff any stains caused by overuse of the wiper. A final note: the whole process takes at least 30 minutes and can take up to 45 minutes to carry out carefully and correctly in order to obtain a bubble-free result with a minimum of dust particles between the screen protector and the screen. Take your time, be patient. Have a strong drink AFTER you're done.
