This is an amazing scanner! Image quality is amazing (although the claimed 10,000dpi isn't true - it's more like 4300dpi). I don't remove tags because all scanner manufacturers do. And I love that you can also make a strip of negatives. The included software is ok, but not outstanding. I recommend buying VueScan to unlock more power. But. I had to iterate over 9 units to get 4 workers. Not the best track record! And after a few months of relatively light use, it's already heading south. Their support was pretty good during my initial struggles to get 4 out of 9 working devices, but I strongly recommend getting the best possible guarantee. Also pay attention to the colors, especially in the darker areas, because that's where I've seen most of the failures.
