After a week with it I'm taking one star off to two. I have it ten feet from my bed, on the table, at a height and I can barely feel the movement of the air. Wouldn't buy again and send back if I didn't put the box out in the rain. The remote control and screws are glued into the polystyrene areas on the outside. They're easy to miss and I almost threw them both out. I give this 4 stars for three reasons. 1. He doesn't hesitate. my bad for the fact that i didn't read it fully but it's expensive for lack of that feature. Let's see if it's a blessing or a curse. I know spinning fans can squeal. 2. The second reason is that despite the presence of multiple speeds, the speed is not saved when you turn it on again. It always returns to HIGH. 3. It's damn loud at high.
