Works very well with long range! I bought this unit to use with a remote controlled air conditioner in a garage. The garage is attached but there is no access through the house. You have to go downstairs and use the back door and use the back door of the garage. I could open the garage door but you lose cool air and the further you open the garage the quicker the springs wear out. Worked great the first time. The range is excellent! It is at least 40 feet from the transmitter. And it goes through a speaker, a sound rack and 5 walls! I have a lot of devices and LEDs everywhere. No interference at all. I used those crappy repeaters in the 1990's and they sucked. I had to press the button multiple times for it to work. This BAFX works every time the button is pressed. I love that you can also plug it into USB to power it! I didn't have to use the adapter that came with it. I feed one from the front USB port of the Denon AVR. That's what you get. Just take it! Edit: Added some photos of the transmitter in the rack, I'll take better ones later.
