As soon as we started spreading it on the stairs and the kids started running up and down, it started rolling and sliding. I try to fix this every time I use the stairs but this work is out of date after about a month and now looks like you see in the photos. We've washed them twice and it's good that they're machine washable, but if you wash them often you're probably wearing them out and the sides start to curl. In general this is not a bad solution for households with adults and infrequent stairs use, but for households with teenagers and children and frequent stairs use this is not a good solution at all and you should definitely refrain from purchasing this product.
