I bought this comb and I really liked it! I told all my daughters. She didn't like it! I have fine hair and this is perfect for me. She has thick hair and it didn't suit her. I dry my hair completely before use. Then I just comb through the small pieces at a time. It smoothes it and makes it shiny and smooth. I also experimented a bit. I can wrap my hair around it and it gives me very loose curls. And they have glitter. My hair doesn't shine without heat. I also use a heat protectant spray which also adds a bit of shine. Warming up takes some time. It's not a quick warm-up. I use it on the hottest setting. This was another complaint from my daughter. She didn't think it was hot enough for her hair. It's very hot for me. You have to be careful and don't grab the comb. It's getting very hot. It would be helpful to use a thermal glove. I use it instead of a flat iron. The straightening iron heats up much more than this comb. I feel like I protect my hair more with it.
