Review on 🚗 Alphasonik HSW208 Hyper 200 Series: Powerful 8" Car Subwoofer with 600 Watts RMS and High Grade Magnet by Marco Habersham

I bought this to fit a 2011 Hyundai Genesis coupe. Mine didn't have a good stereo so I also bought an amplifier and a line out converter to connect speaker wire to have RCA outputs. I was skeptical at first because even Polk said it should be in the box. I screwed it into this 8 inch hole on the back deck, plugged everything in and put in some of my childhood music. Okay, he won't win any awards, but it sounded really good. The bass was deep and loud. The trunk also works well as a box. The only issues I had were the bass banging up and down the entire back and a fear of breaking the back glass while listening to the Beastie Boys, Paul Revere. No noticeable distortion when switching on the Kenwood eXcelon Reference Fit 5-channel digital power amplifier (80 W (RMS) x 4 / 350 W (RMS) x 1). Putting it in a 0.5 cu ft box would definitely boost the bass, but it works really well in my setup too. Dan
