I had high hopes for this - I really did. The old standard flex hose on my dryer needed replacing and I was sure there had to be a better way in my small space and I found out about these periscope style vents. It seemed like the perfect solution. Unfortunately he had a few problems. One port fit my dryer perfectly, and the smallest extension was the perfect distance between the dryer port and the wall opening, but the opening and wall opening were exactly the same size so they didn't slide across at all. I decided to try and adjust at this point rather than returning because I already had this part and needed to run the dryer right away rather than go looking for the other parts. I installed it, but the periscope material was so flimsy that the slightest movement of the dryer (we're talking about a blanket tumbling in the dryer, not pressing on the machine) will cause the box to buckle and tear on the sides. . I had to remove all the stitching and tape and then reattach, but again the movement of the hair dryer during use bent the product so the sides sagged even with the tape and it didn't stay airtight. No solution for me.
