Good for the price but feels loose without much support

I would like to start by saying that they fit my needs perfectly which I bought them for - cheap shoes for treadmill use. The shoes are good value for money but I wouldn't recommend them for more intensive use. Pros: - Very easy to wear: the stretchy shape means you can put them on while maintaining the overall shape and laces to tighten them. Ball Support: These parts support the forefoot surprisingly well. If you do a lot of movements that focus on the balls of your feet, they will work well. - Great sole: nothing special but it does its job well, is durable and doesn't slip on the surface. Cons: - Lack of support: I would never use them on more intense runs for the following reasons, as I would be concerned that my feet would roll or lose traction - Heel slippage: Due to the resilient nature of the shoe, my heels are always slipping around, especially towards the middle. I assume this can be fixed with a third party insole, but at this point you might as well spend your money on a better shoe. Internal Arch Support: As above, it does not provide enough support for people with flat feet. I could feel my legs wanting to roll. - Lack of cushioning: the included insoles and soles are not very suitable for real running/jogging conditions. They do well on the treadmill, but when I was jogging in the park or hiking I could feel my legs starting to hurt after a few minutes. basic pair of shoes. Even if you just run a lot, I can see them causing problems in the future.
