A nice addition to my home office. That roomy page folder and Freedom Filer file system means my paperwork woes are behind us. It's hard when it arrives. So if your final location requires a ladder, I highly recommend using a delivery service. The build service via TaskRabbit is also recommended, but I didn't use it. The build is lengthy and error-prone, so be very careful. When it arrives, be sure to look for the label with the name for each part and label each one. The labels are not the same; some are stickers, some are embossed on the side of the tree, and some have no label at all. Before doing this, take the time to understand and make sure you know how everything is put together and where each part goes. Took me 4 hours to assemble and after that I had some problems with it. The top piece of wood doesn't sit flat on the poles because the pole mount is a little wobbly (the screw holes seem a bit off). Also, the two drawers are different, so make sure you put them in the right slots. After reassembly, my top drawer kept rubbing against the front panel of the bottom drawer and sometimes wouldn't even go in without lifting or sliding the bottom drawer. I pulled out both drawers and found that the Sauder cam bolts weren't quite tight on the shelves. I pushed them in and they kept coming out but I finally managed to keep them in place and now my drawers roll out, open and close smoothly. Lots of space. Regulated for letters and folders with legal acts. I forego bindings and use suspension files and manila folders, it's such a relief and I make filing and searching for material easy and even enjoyable. I recommend checking out the self-cleaning Freedom Filer system so you can continue to automatically clean and replace aging papers with new ones. The lack of metal means my home office will look stylish. And the good depth means I can use it to hold up my printer and scanner. Perfect and highly recommended once you get past the build issues.
