Too strong if not installed properly

These things come with a floor or wall stud. Use it. He will peel the paint off the wall and stick the tiles on the floor. I have a hollow door that the previous owner cut off leaving a hole in the bottom of the door. This needs to be reinforced or the adhesive will tear the door apart. If you are installing on a cement floor and don't have tools to drill, remove the paint from the floor before installing - this will also strip the paint off the floor. my door doesn't close by itself. I would have preferred something weaker, but I don't want to blame the manufacturer for that.
