Keen sandals are my family's favorite pair of shoes during the warmer months. Hiking, beach, biking, my kids wear them on all their adventures. My kids love them. They fit well and are comfortable. I buy them 2 sizes bigger because my kids are growing so fast. The extra length keeps my kids from tripping as their feet grow. These sandals are well made. Although Keen shoes for children's shoes are more expensive, they hold up so well that they are passed on to the next child in almost new condition. We have a pair that has had a couple of kids and lasted about 4 years of constant use. I think, that one kid carried them on their balance bike for about 200 miles (3-5 miles every day really adds up). We have changed his bike tires twice in that time and the tread of his shoes is still in good condition, as is the upper. The velcro is just beginning to unravel. To be honest my kids have abused their sandals and they still look brand new. If they start smelling ripe or get really dirty, I just toss them in the washing machine and let them air dry. Like new. TL; DR: It's totally worth the money and will continue to dress my whole family in Keen shoes.
