This is so funny! I prefer clear drinks - egtonic, 7 up. My husband drinks iced coffee. We both use French jam jars. His coaster is SPOT! And if I have coke - the same! I can't get the rings off the stand. By the way, he wipes the glass before use - it does not drip down. So my type A doesn't like these coasters :( I won't be returning them but I'm VERY disappointed.
