I bought the 'Sunny' J World New York Trolley Backpack for my 8 year old specifically to use as a FREE personal item with Frontier Airlines which is on a size of 18 x 14 x 8 inches is limited as of summer 2021. The dimensions in the published description are NOT exact, specifically the depth of the bag. I measure them as 17.5 x 12.5 x 10.5 inches when fully loaded (although not overly full). I have no idea how they got 7.5 inches or 8 inches deep. (Why are both numbers visible in the listing?) The back of the bag (without wheels) to the front of the plastic base alone is 8.5". I wish I had measured it before taking it to Grandma's for the night .I plan on packing it and maybe adding extra straps/bungee to put it on The free airplane bag construction looks solid The handle will most likely break first I wouldn't give this to my child to take to school but maybe is yours more careful with his stuff.Has a few handle heights so it works for both my little son and I (I'm only 5ft 3in).
