Feels good and looks very attractive

These door handles have a solid feel and look very well constructed with well fitted details. They have a lot of cast metal parts, while the cheaper models have a lot of stamped metal parts. The difference is very noticeable. Installation is a bit more complicated than cheap locks, so I recommend reading the instructions. The square shape adds a problem: even if the hardware isn't aligned with the edge of the door, it still stands out. I kept the 12 inch ruler to the side to make it easier to align the base with the edge of the door. It worked well. Another clever but unexpected thing is that the buttons are held in place by set screws that have to move outward to hold the button in place. This usually requires you to turn the screw counter-clockwise. But they used a left-hand thread. So if you turn the screw clockwise, the set screw will move outward and hold the knob in place. The trick is to ignore the fact that the set screw is left-hand threaded and simply turn it clockwise to tighten like any other screw. For locks with keys, it is very easy to use their smart key system. Once you understand the process, it will take a few seconds to re-map these devices. I suggest you keep the old keys so you can do this if you want to change the key for any reason. Overall I am very impressed with these locks.
