Let me start by saying I'm SMALL. I'm 5ft 1in and 97lbs. I am also a 53 year old athletic woman. I have a kayak and bought it because it was becoming difficult for me to operate the kayak alone in the water. So I hoped this paddle board would be the ticket I needed to fill the need to ONLY get it in my car and in the water. I'm happy to report that it helped. Now I can sell my kayak. I received it 3 days earlier than expected. was good because i was annoyed that i wouldn't get it for the weekend but i got it. Even though it was prime, for some reason after I bought it he said I wouldn't have it until it didn't last 5 days. However, I received it two days after ordering. It boded well for the future. Everything arrived in perfect condition. The box is large and quite heavy. I was pleased to see the quality of the paddleboard. I did see slight bumps as another reviewer said but after inflation they went away. Hey stayed I wouldn't care as the quality is exceptional no matter what. As others have said, it was easy to inflate to the last 5psi. In total it took about 20 minutes. I suggest that at the end of the stretch you close your arms and use your body weight to pump them up. The pump is fine. It worked wonderfully. There's nothing wrong. As I said, I weigh 97 kilos. If I can handle it, an average height adult shouldn't have a problem. Just lock your arms and use your body weight on the pump, not arm strength. After pouting I was blown away by the quality of this board. Remember this paddle board is 10 feet long. This is a regular sized paddleboard. If you are looking for a shorter board this is not for you. It could be a little easier to transport, but this is a standard sized board. Also this board is RELIABLE! On the water today (I live in Fort Lauderdale, so I took it along the stretch of coastline that leads to the Atlantic). I was shocked by his performance. He was as stable as could be. He maneuvered amazingly. The paddle was fine. It's not heavy (from a 97 lb female). I've used it both kayak style (no seat) and standing. This board floats as can be. It works and maneuvers great. This board is lighter than a regular board but still bulky. If you are my size and not in good shape this board will help you. I say that because this is a regular sized paddle board. It's not shorter. Just a little easier. The only difference between this board and a non-inflatable SUP is the weight. On top of that you get a lighter weight paddle board of incredible quality. Go for it, you won't be disappointed.
