I needed to remove several large strips of double-sided carpet tape off my living room floor. I hesitated to use real metal razor blades because 1] I'm a klutz and 2] my puppy shoves his nose in everywhere he's not wanted. Although I doubted a plastic blade would work as well, I took a chance on these for reasons of safety. They worked! All the filthy sticky tape is gone with no damage to me, my dog, or my laminate floor. I only used one blade and one holder for this job, so I think the usefulness of this product will outlive me.
