Good sound, but a big bug makes it useless

The device works with a significant nuance. When playing music, the sound is crisp and clear. No problem. However, when the device is connected to a power source via USB, it produces a loud hiss through the connected stereo in standby mode (no sound). When a note is played, the feedback stops. If the audio pauses after a few seconds, the feedback begins again. I tried using the included USB cable and another Anker USB cable I had on hand. I also tried several charging ports. All combinations resulted in feedback while the device was not in use. I expected this device to be constantly connected to the network so my phone would connect automatically when I start the car. With terrible feedback, this is impossible. Let's go back to the drawing board.
