This choke was the same as the old broken one I had on my e500. It took a while to attach or take apart but there are some instructions. First remove the handlebars from the handlebars, then push back the old throttle with a rubber mallet or a rubber mallet. Then open the battery compartment, screen first, with a tiny grip on it. Unscrew it. Then disconnect the red connection wire from the battery to the control switch. Then unscrew the two screws parallel to each other to open the control compartment and locate the cable marked gas, disconnect it and then slide it through the hole. Finally put the new connector in the control box and connect the cable to the grip, put on the throttle and then the grip.
