This Throttle Body is an exact replacement for the Zip 900 Scooter; worked great. Easy to install and connect. The exchange takes a few minutes; then the scooter works again.

Be careful your ezip or schwinn 500 may have 5 or 6 wires to the battery cycle controller. I made the mistake of buying the 5 wire version and I needed 6. They are not interchangeable and the wire colors do not match. I only gave this choke a low rating because the product description should clearly state this issue.

This choke was the same as the old broken one I had on my e500. It took a while to attach or take apart but there are some instructions. First remove the handlebars from the handlebars, then push back the old throttle with a rubber mallet or a rubber mallet. Then open the battery compartment, screen first, with a tiny grip on it. Unscrew it. Then disconnect the red connection wire from the battery to the control switch. Then unscrew the two screws parallel to each other to open the control…

This product does not connect to the I-Zip 600 or Schwinn S600 controller box (inside the battery box) as advertised, it is just a 5 pin connector. The models above that I have require 6 pins/wires.

This is a 5 pin Throttle Body. This is a direct replacement and the throttle body is Currie branded. Throttle travel is comfortable and springs back when released. It keeps my eZip 750 feeling like new. If you have a 5-pin throttle, go for it.

mine was for Ezip 450, and it has 5 wires and different color codes, it's not clear in the post, it just says what is compatible not that different wires. Update: I managed to get it working but the light isn't working and won't turn on or off. However, make sure it's the right choice for you.
