**Overview 2nd Paragraph** Recently returned to Smash Ultimate on Nintendo Switch during quarantine and my joysticks are drifting + they're still not that good. I had an original Nintendo Gamecube controller from over 10 years ago but it was full of junk and the buttons would sometimes get stuck. (At this point I've opened it up and cleaned it, so it appears to be brand new, but oh well.) A new controller will be needed as those sticky buttons were quite frustrating to play with. OEM Gamecube controllers that are in great condition and unused are over $100 these days (last time I checked), and I almost never buy used items. (Also, they'd probably be pretty sticky, maybe even broken? Buying used ones is pretty risky!) So I did a bit of searching and found that Nintendo released new Gamecube controllers specifically for Smash Bros, and this was the one I found have cheapest, most reliable and actually in stock. Some of the reviews were really negative about the product, saying it was a third party or shit. In my personal experience the controller came packaged in a clean box just like the product picture and it is actually an import from Japan and looked/felt brand new. So far absolutely no problems and I believe it has been almost if not more than a month. I would recommend this controller if you are looking for a new one. (Remember you'll need an adapter as the controller doesn't just plug into the switch.) 10/10 for me! If you have a 3 blade screwdriver or don't mind waiting and buy one for around $3. Try to buy a used original Gamecube controller on eBay. It'll be a lot cheaper (maybe save you $30), but you'll have to open up and clean the controller and hope the one you bought isn't broken or a rogue/third party controller. I hope this helps anyone who may or may not be considering buying this controller. ** In the picture, the one I'm reviewing is black. There are NO blue buttons included, they are custom made and I bought them separately. It comes with the buttons shown on the packaging. Also purple is the controller I mentioned earlier that has nothing to do with the product. ** 07/07/2020
