I love these shoes so much I recently bought 3 more pairs. If you have a wide foot, the wide model is very comfortable for people with wide feet, and the shoe is great for sports on the court, fitness walking and walking in general. The soles are durable, grip well on courts and pavements and give your feet good grip. However, when new they may take a few weeks to break in, even if they are not made entirely of leather (a combination of leather and synthetic leather). I have washed my Monarchs in the car and air dried them in my garden and it keeps them nice and clean, removes any sweat odor and they look and feel like new again. Really good shoes!
