As almost all devices that rely on a USB connection or charge are moving to USB-C, I'm quickly replacing my bulky pile of micro-USB cables with one big pile of USB cables -C. However, not all USB-C cables are created equal. USB-A to USB-C cables like this one can support either USB 2 (480 MB/s) or USB 3 (500 GB/s). This is a cheaper option that supports slower USB 2 speeds. See the included test of a USB 3.1 Rev 2 device connected to a USB 3 computer connection with one of these cables. Speeds are standard for USB 2. However, these cables support fast phone charging. I connected the cable between the fast charger and my Samsung S21 phone and it recognized fast charging without any problems. (Cheap cables sometimes don't support fast charging at all.) You get a total of six cables in this kit: 2 x 3ft 2 x 6ft 2 x 10ft I will also note that the ends of these cables are flimsy and do not pose a problem even with a case fit into a telephone jack. I've had cables where there isn't. In terms of design, they look decent enough. The cables aren't as thick/heavy as other USB-A to USB-C cables I've had, but they seem to work well. Time will tell how the ends hold up but so far they seem fine. All in all, these are decent USB-C class USB 2 cables, best suited for charging or connecting devices where transfer speed is not a priority. The price is pretty good considering you get six cables in the box.
