They modified the maintainer to remove the little blue indicator (that told you it was working or not). I miss it a lot as you can actually tell (without looking at a multimeter) that it actually still works. I've had a few of these and they're great, but without the light you're just taking a big risk if it works. I don't want to find out in a month it's failed if the car won't start.
