Review on 📱 Enhanced SanDisk Ultra 64GB USB 3.0 OTG Flash Drive w/ Micro USB Connector - Android Mobile Device Compatible (SDDD2-064G-G46) by Justin Gore

Long term review here! I've had it on my keychain for about 2 years now and have found that the retractable case on this flash drive doesn't stand up to the rigors of prolonged use. I use this stick about twice a month when I don't have another and the plastic button on top that pushes the pins out has been broken for about a year now. The button comes off easily over time, so now I have to use something small to push out the contacts on the other side so the flash drive can be inserted into the computer. This is very inconvenient and makes plugging the drive into the USB port a real hassle as I try to keep the pins from sliding into the closed position. I've had the pleasure of having a USB stick attached to my key fob for the past 2 years, but I recommend choosing a different brand with a more durable case. Soon I will remove this flash drive and find a more suitable drive for my keychain. Aside from a serious button issue, the flash drive performs reasonably well with the excellent read and write speeds you'd expect from Sandisk. If Sandisk updates this product with a stronger case I would definitely buy it again but until then I cannot recommend this product. Update: After writing this review, SanDisk informed me that such an error would be covered. under their three year warranty. After sending a picture of the damage and the serial number, they quickly emailed a return label and a new flash drive arrived within weeks of beginning the process. While I contend that the design isn't perfect and the same error might occur again, I'm adding a star to my rating because I have good customer service and a longer than expected three year warranty. Most consumer electronics come with such a short warranty that 3 years is longer than I expected.
